Dongguk University has decided to increase the number of students majoring in mechanical robotics engineering departments in the field of future vehicles and robots by announcing the results of the 2024 general university quota allocation. The Ministry of Education announced the results of the quota allocation by easing regulations to increase the number of high-tech departments to supply human resources to hightech industries such as semiconductors.
21 high-tech fields were divided into six screening fields in consideration of similarity by field and the size of applications, and the department subject to quota allocation was selected based on the results of each field.
Dongguk University is speeding up its specialization to train intelligent robot professionals based on the increase in the number of high-tech workers. In particular, the Department of Mechanical Robot Energy Engineering, which is the subject to the increase in the number of students, plans to establish an intelligent robot convergence major in cooperation with the Department of Artificial Intelligence Convergence from 2024.
