On May 25th, at 3:30 P.M., the Mayor of Seoul, Oh Se-hoon, visited to give a special lecture in the middle auditorium of the main building. This day, Mayor delivered a lecture about the policies of Seoul. It was explained by dividing it into a donghang(companion) special city and a charm special city, and in aspect of donghang, various policies were introduced on the issues facing the Seoul city, such as the support system for the socially disadvantaged and education issues. In terms of charm, he emphasized potential cultural competitiveness of Seoul, and explained the green development plan and the Han River Renaissance plan.
Also, There is a Q and A session, three students asked the quesitons about the opinion of youth politics, personal values and the role of university. The Mayor replied that the crisis becomes opportunities and the role of university is to cultivate the talanted who the society needs and to develop basic studies for better society. The student representative handed over the bouquet and the lecture was ended with a big round of applause.
