Student Dishwashers in Rumbini Cafeteria

Although gossipping is unbecoming to ladies or gentlemen, we can't deny that it is our natural instinct. Even if we don't blame someone to his or her face, sometimes we find ourselves blaming someone unconsciously. Campus cafeterias are suitable places to enjoy gossipping. Students gossip on one side of the circular wall which separates them from student dishwashers in the Rumbini cafeteria. But if you are on the other side of the wall, you can hear gossip gushing from student dishwashers.Around 4 p.m., a clatter of spoons and chopsticks fills the air in the Rumbini Building. "Hurry up!" a busy student worker shouts at a fellow student while washing up dishes at lunch time when most students have their meals. "Let's begin again. Why doesn't this washing machine work?"When I visited the pantry on the second floor, it reminded me of a battlefield. After lunch time, they started to gossip heaving a sigh of relief. "We usually start our part-time job at 7 a.m. and finish at 7:30 p.m. Although it's a difficult job, I do my best," said Jung Kyu-ho, who stopped going to school temporarily. "About three thousand people visit this cafeteria a day. When students surged into the cafeteria at lunch time, we have no time to have our own lunch," Mr. Jung added."Some students don't finish their meals, which results in wasting food and making it difficult to wash dishes," a working student, Hyun Ki-ryung, confessed."Oh, it's already five o'clock. We have to finish washing dishes. I was about to tell you more of our gossip. Why don't you join us?" After all, you won't hear this kind of on the other side of the wall.
